AISSMS Institute of Information Technology (IOIT), Pune Admission 2026: Cutoff, Fees & Placements

AISSMS IOIT links an FRA fee upload from Fee Structure and Fee Structure 2026-2027. The file mixes two sheets: page 1 is an AY2024-25 circular (dated 25/6/2024); page 2 is the category-wise F.Y.B.Tech AY2026-27 table used below. Figures are from that 2026-27 sheet — not aggregators.

OMS OPEN differs only on eligibility (₹1,150 instead of ₹650), which lifts the Final Total to ₹1,45,486. Asterisk-style category concessions still depend on government eligibility and reimbursement. If MAHADBT / Social Welfare does not reimburse, budget the OPEN difference until accounts confirm otherwise in writing. Management and NRI rows printed on the 2024-25 page of the same upload are not used here as 2026-27 quotes — ask the institute for a current management/NRI demand if that is your route. Payment modes on the older page name RTGS/NEFT/DD/Pay Order and ERP; confirm the live mode on your demand note.

The institute lists hostel under Facilities → Hostel. On the August 2026 capture, that page does not print a dated AY2026-27 boys/girls tariff table we could sum-check. AISSMS College of Engineering publishes a separate society hostel notice with rupee amounts — those numbers belong to the COE sourcing folder and are not copied onto this IOIT page without an IOIT-named document.

A CAP seat at 06282 does not automatically mean a hostel bed. Keep an off-campus rent buffer for Kennedy Road / Shivajinagar until the institute confirms allotment and the written package for your year. If IOIT later posts a dated hostel circular, this section should be updated from that PDF — not from memory or from the COE notice.

Read this as an estimate. The category sheet prints first-year final totals. It does not state that the same total applies for every subsequent year. We will not silently multiply and present the product as the college’s figure.

Historical closes are not next-year guarantees. Compare on the same list with AISSMS COE (06278), PCCOE and PICT rather than mixing percentiles across institutes.

IOIT publishes year-wise placement report pages under the T&P cell, including Placement Report 2025-26. We opened the linked PDFs dated 4 June 2026: a placed-student name list and a company-visited list. Those are usable evidence of activity — not a substitute for median/average salary tables.

Duplicate names appear on the placed list (our unique-name count is lower than the max serial). Branch labels on that PDF include Computer, IT, AI&DS, E&TC, Electrical and Instrumentation — useful for mix, not for salary. For EMI maths, ask T&P for a dated branch-wise median and placed-vs-eligible denominator — the same honesty standard used on AISSMS COE and PCCOE.

Seat counts below are from the State CET Cell institute summary for code 06282. TFWS rows ending in T are listed on the same page but are not added into the 780 regular total.

Always lock the full choice code from the live option form. 06282 is Institute of Information Technology; 06278 is College of Engineering — same society brand, different CAP institutes, different fee sheets and cutoffs. Computing weight is high here: Computer, IT and AI&DS alone account for 540 of the 780 regular seats, which is why CE/IT/AI&DS closes dominate most preference-list conversations for this code.

First-year B.Tech seats for Maharashtra and All-India CAP move through the State CET Cell process. Institute pages also describe CAP allotment admission forms and procedures — those are process aids, not a bypass of merit. The sequence below is the counselling path that decides the CAP seat.

1. Entrance and registration. Appear for MHT-CET and/or JEE Main as required, then complete CET Cell registration and document upload.
2. Option form. Add IOIT programmes using full choice codes from institute 06282 — not 06278 (COE).
3. CAP rounds. Read freeze / float / slide rules in the CET Cell Information Brochure before accepting.
4. Fee payment. Pay the Final Total for your printed category from the AY2026-27 sheet (OPEN ₹1,44,986 MH unless a concession row applies and is approved).
5. Institute reporting. Carry the allotment letter and the CET Cell brochure document set, plus any IOIT reporting checklist linked under Admissions.
6. Hostel (optional, separate). Confirm tariffs and allotment in writing — this page does not invent a hostel total.

Documents checklist

Both AISSMS campuses sit near Kennedy Road / RTO. Confirm the reporting building for IOIT on the allotment letter so you do not queue at College of Engineering by mistake.

Most avoidable seat losses happen after the merit is already good enough. Freeze / float / forfeiture rules come from the Maharashtra State CET Cell for the cycle. They apply to 06282 the same way they apply to AISSMS COE, PCCOE or PICT.

Build the preference list assuming you may be allotted any 06282 code you ranked — including Instrumentation or Electrical — then freeze only when that branch and the matching fee row are acceptable.

Families often shortlist both AISSMS campuses together. Keep the codes straight, then compare axes with AISSMS COE and PCCOE Pune.

Also weigh PICT and DY Patil Akurdi if your merit is closer to those bands. Brand proximity between the two AISSMS campuses is not a reason to treat their fee sheets as interchangeable.
